Tried Ruby Tuesday Cs. The Salad bar is a must try, Great variety and the fact that it is refillable is a huge plus..
Then came the artichoke spinach dip, It tasted like hot cheese dip with a hint of spinach with no trace of artichoke what so ever..
The tortilla chips were ok would've preferred them salted thou. The chicken mushroom pasta was a huge let down. It was too heavy..
Like they had excess cheese and wanted to get rid of it. The chicken in it tasted nice alone and the peas was a nice touch. -- المغربي اية (@Maghrabawy) through Food Review Egypt- Twitter @Food_eg

Actually I love this place. They probably have the best mini burgers in town. I usually go there if I'm in city stars and in the mood for some eating:).
Generally the food is good, nothing out of this world but I honestly think it is currently way better than Chillies. Bigger portions and better quality.

Regarding the first review, the crab cakes actually do suck. Worst thing I've ever tasted. I didn't try any other seafood platter but 2 friends of mine ordered a new "surf and turf" item (steak and shrimp) and it was good.

For appetizers, I ordered the crab cake and the chicken fingers. Straight-to-the-point, the crab cake is not a crab cake. It's a crap cake. It's dry, meaning it's not fresh, my bet is that it's can crab cake. It's overseasoned, salty, meaning no one is tasting that dish before handing it to customer. It's also not hot enough, meaning it sits on the hot plate for too long and no one is taking it to the customer; some management problem there. The salad that comes with the crab cake is rotten! Seriously! Maybe it's already more than a week sitting in the fridge. I just took a spoon of it and immediately sent it back. Then I asked for the chicken fingers. Luckily, it's not that bad. The chicken is still juicy inside and the outside is golden crispy. The dip sauce is simply amazing. Only one complaint is that it's too much for an appetizer. I don't consider 6-7 sticks of big chicken fingers as appetizer. It's almost like an entree.

Moving on to entrees, I ordered the salmon, white fish fillet, and the pan-seared ribeye. Suffice to say that the seafood(white fish and salmon) sucks big time, sorry. Salmon is cooked nicely, pink on the inside and seared nicely on the outside. But, it's way too dry and bland. It's underseasoned, and more importantly, that level of dryness means it's far from fresh salmon. The same goes to the white fish, it's way too bland and dry. Sorry but the cheapest fish fillet that you can buy from Spinneys downstairs taste exactly the same like that. I immediately sent back those 2 poor dishes and ordered the ribeye steak. Maybe they already noticed that i'm quite a demanding customer or maybe it's just my luck, but the ribeye that came to me is amazing. It's not the coking skill that impressed me, because it's a little underseasoned and not seared perfectly. But the freshness of the steak itself that made me smile. At first I asked for med-rare, but they don't understand me. So I asked for just medium, and guess what, it came really pink inside, so juicy and tender! This time i managed to finish the dish that came. It's just quite a shame that it's a little underseasoned and not seared perfectly. If not, it would have been the best ribeye steak in City Stars at least.

I finished off with the passion fruit smoothies and the lemon juice. The passion fruit smoothies is, well, absolutely amazing. No complaint whatsoever. The lemon juice is however a little bit too strong. I love a strong tasting lemon juice, so it's good for me. But I can see that the juice can easily be a problem to drink with for some people.

The service here is not good enough. I can see that some waiters are really dedicated for the service, but the others are just plain lazy. I cannot see or feel any excitement in their action. It almost feels like they are already too boring working in their job and just doing it because they haven't got any other chance. This of course translates to their action. I asked for their suggestion, instead the read the whole menu. When I asked for the bill, they literally forgot about it. And when the bill comes, they even forgot to take it back. I'm almost being completely ignored. Maybe because I'm a foreigner and sorry to say that I've noticed a habit here that the local people just hate foreigner and often they are being completely ignored. Maybe this translates the service that I got from them.

All in all, if you are planning to go to this restaurant, my suggestion is that go for the chicken fingers for appetizer, medium ribeye steak, and finished with the passion fruit smoothies. Steer clear of the 'crap' cake, and all the seafood dishes. Period.
