FuddRuckers city stars.... Best burger, worst salad bar, and by far worst service ever, being at CS is not an excuse to what happened to us today, very slow inaccurate service.
Awful salad bar, broken pepsi machine, empty cheddar and mayo dispensers, dirty floors.. total disappointment.
Manager came to our table, thought he will apologize, he asked to take the extra chair instead, customers out of desperation started to go get their cover themselves! !!!!!!! -- Mohamed El Sherif (@M_El_Sherif)

Heard about Tamara Bistro from a friend who had a blast there during sohor in ramadan so we decided to check it out
Our first impression was that the place was well decorated in a modernized lebanese setting on 3 small levels but a bit crowded the waiter's advice made us order a quantity that we can't really eat so don't listen to them, but we wanted to try everything anyway :)
We tried fatoush, taboula, hommos, chicken liver & lemon maqaneq, all with freshly baked bread were amazing, the lemon maqaneq on a very special note was actually the best any of us ever had, Tamara Bistro really nailed it. As for the main dishes we tried farog mesahab, shawerma & grilled kofta all deliciously good but just as good as Cairo's other top lebanese restaurants.
The worst thing about Tamara Bistro was serving shisha, being indoors with lack of ventilation thats not a place for family outings, our overall experience at Tamara Bistro was very good, prices were as expected above average but definitly not overpriced, I will be thinking about Tamara Bistro's lemon maqaneq until next visit but i really hope they would do something about shisha.

Tried Ruby Tuesday Cs. The Salad bar is a must try, Great variety and the fact that it is refillable is a huge plus..
Then came the artichoke spinach dip, It tasted like hot cheese dip with a hint of spinach with no trace of artichoke what so ever..
The tortilla chips were ok would've preferred them salted thou. The chicken mushroom pasta was a huge let down. It was too heavy..
Like they had excess cheese and wanted to get rid of it. The chicken in it tasted nice alone and the peas was a nice touch. -- المغربي اية (@Maghrabawy) through Food Review Egypt- Twitter @Food_eg

It took us sometime to find a parking space at Abd El Wahab the valet parking guys were doing their best, luckily we made reservations as it was a busy day

The place is well organized, although not very spacious but the tables are not crammed, we were seated right by the Nile which was perfect at Abd El Wahab

We almost ordered all their appetizers, personal favorites were hummos, garlic labnah & maqaneq, hummos w beef is not worthy also fattah is regular

But the chicken liver was out of this world delicious definitely the best any of us ever had with the tehina & fresh baked hot bread, yum

For the main dish, the mixed grill was perfectly made, specially kofta and tawook, great marinade portions were good also

But unfortunately no one liked the grilled chicken it was somehow tasteless, nothing special at all

We finished by ordering some oriental desserts which are good but extremely overpriced, you could instead buy 2 kilos of oriental goods from the best places in Cairo

Also the fresh juice was purely sweetened colored water, I believe there were not less than 4 tbsp of sugar in each cup

The overall outing was nice the location is great, service was good, but the main issue here is to revisit their prices, we were 4 and we paid a thousand pounds

I tried yesterday the classic mushroom pizza from Casper And Gambini's. It was amazing. I don't know what kind of heavenly white cheese they put in it but it just melts in your mouth and wasn't mozzarella. The mushrooms were fresh not canned and beautifully sautéed

And won't even start to talk about the crust. It was thin and crispy yet fluffy. I absolutely loved the whole thing.

I had breakfast at On Toast in Zamalek today. Ordered the omelette with sausages, cheese and onion. Really good, but if you want the cheese and sausage mixed into the batter you have to ask, otherwise it comes on the side. Also had the pain perdu which is just a fancy way of saying French toast. Loved it!! It's a really nice place, would definitely go again!

Finally tried Bread Basket Zamalek branch yesterday. I ordered their philadelphia croissant, the kitke roll, portugese roll, pudding danish, almond biscotti, a brownie and honeycomb rolls. First of all, their croissant is big and flaky & I enjoyed it.. the kitke roll was def my fav! It's braided bread, and it has a sweet taste to it & it's delicious! Loved it! The portugese roll wasn't the best, but they did it right. I had to pre-order the almond biscotti cuz they bake it fresh. Got it today & it's yummy, crunchy & full of shaved almonds. The brownie has won my favorite brownie in egypt award haha! It's chewy, fudgey, and has a hint of walnuts in it. It's so good! And it's quite big too. The honeycomb was just another normal white bread roll. All in all, I enjoyed everything I ordered. Very fresh, moderately priced and tasty! Def in my top favs now (I love bakeries!) Good job, but you have to order them pretty early in the morning in order to get the food you want. They sell out fast & for good reason!

Tried 2 of TGI Fridays new burgers today - burger itself was good, BUT came with key toppings missing which was disappointing.
1st off we ordered a philly cheese steak burger & a triple twist one, but we got 2 triple twists instead, after we fixed that, we had asked for medium/well - we got rare instead, and with no beef bacon, mushrooms, or steak as advertised & clearly written on menu.
Finally got our order, no mozarella, some american yellow cheese instead as well as canned mushrooms. It's a shame, had potential.
One last thing though, the fries were fantastic & came with 2 very tasty dips. Burger itself was tasty after all that hassle.

ok just finished the battle on dargdodna's ground, 1st of all these guys are located on mohy el din near tahrir st. Intersection, its a very spacious two story place so its hard to miss, also its one of those places where its very easy to get addicted to the food with levels of addiction similar to the ones i had on automarket and myqueen in the old days when they were the only places.
Its where u can get a proper meal at a proper price, ok lets jump to the food, we ordered tajin kofta beltehina which comes with an out of this world tehina sauce, haven't tasted any similar dishes anywhere else, quite a unique mix, also generously comes with a healthy serving of khalta rice, also ordered a chicken ma2loba, and a half stuffed chicken with a tomya on the side, chicken dishes were not as unique as the kofta but still a good quality food, also had tomya salad on the side, the total cheque came for 110 LE which is quite cheap for a 3 persons lunch these days, anyways it was a nice experience as usual with this place, nothing fancy or extravagant but an excellent value for money, tip: they deliver fast and in a nice fokhar tajins, enjoy.
