It took us sometime to find a parking space at Abd El Wahab the valet parking guys were doing their best, luckily we made reservations as it was a busy day

The place is well organized, although not very spacious but the tables are not crammed, we were seated right by the Nile which was perfect at Abd El Wahab

We almost ordered all their appetizers, personal favorites were hummos, garlic labnah & maqaneq, hummos w beef is not worthy also fattah is regular

But the chicken liver was out of this world delicious definitely the best any of us ever had with the tehina & fresh baked hot bread, yum

For the main dish, the mixed grill was perfectly made, specially kofta and tawook, great marinade portions were good also

But unfortunately no one liked the grilled chicken it was somehow tasteless, nothing special at all

We finished by ordering some oriental desserts which are good but extremely overpriced, you could instead buy 2 kilos of oriental goods from the best places in Cairo

Also the fresh juice was purely sweetened colored water, I believe there were not less than 4 tbsp of sugar in each cup

The overall outing was nice the location is great, service was good, but the main issue here is to revisit their prices, we were 4 and we paid a thousand pounds

Abdel Wahab is a Lebanese restaurant @ Club 33, Zamalek. Heard many +ve reviews but in my experience food was just average. Ordered Mix Grill + Hummus for starter. Mix was good but nothing special about its taste, just good. Hummus was better in terms of taste & the bread that came with it was great as well.

Service was ok. Appetizer didn't arrive early as it should, & arrived later with the main dish.

Experience: place should play Lebanese music as part of its branding, not Egyptian music.

Their chocolate mint shisha, as per their recommendation, is nice.

It's a very nice spot located directly on the Nile. It has good Lebanese food and as it just opened recently it's service is improving all the time (some friends had problems with the check but nothing major). It has good sheesha to go with the mood.
Overall worth a try if you are in the mood
